9to5 Seating is a standout in the seating industry in part thanks to our commitment to green manufacturing.  Now, we’ve achieved LEVEL 2 and 3 by BIFMA recertification for all 9to5 Seating chairs.  We are one of the few seating-only manufacturers to achieve LEVEL 2 and 3 by BIFMA. The certification is now active through May 2027.

All our products did well in the assessment, earning a LEVEL 2 certification. But several chairs earned the highest sustainability rating, LEVEL 3, including the HÅG chairs – HÅG Capisco, HÅG Capisco Puls, HÅG Tion, HÅG Celi, HÅG SoFi and the 9to5 Seating chair, Ellie.

LEVEL by BIFMA is a trusted sustainability certification program created to provide a comprehensive and transparent way to source responsibly manufactured products. Evaluated by third-party certifiers, products are measured against the multi-attribute criteria defined in the ANSI/BIFMA e3 Furniture Sustainability Standard and listed in an industry-wide public product registry. The LEVEL mark shows that the product, the manufacturing facility, and the company, have achieved the necessary sustainability requirements for certification.
